Meet Ashley with I Do, I Do Wedding Planning and Consulting.  We loved creating this video promo to help with her rebranding of her company.  I think it gives future brides great insight into how Ashley works and what she can help with during the wedding planning process. 

A special thanks to Handley, Arden and William for letting us use their beautiful wedding venue, Windwood Equestrian in Pelham, Alabama.  It really created the perfect setting!  Plus Ashley loved being around the horses! And now it has been made famous for being Jersey Belles on Bravo! (Does the interview location look familiar?)

Everyone loves a nice outdoor wedding, right?  Cool breeze, not too hot of air, 0% humidity and there are NO bugs.  Well, this is Alabama and none of those things happen around here, y'all.  (If you know me, you know that y'all is foreign word on my lips but it was very appropriate here.)

Please, PLEASE if you are having an outdoor wedding at dusk, provide some mosquito spray to your guests.  Or better yet, hire one of those services to come and spray the location the day before. Everyone is miserable when they are covered with a zillion mosquitos!  We have even picked out mosquitos that have been caught in the bride's veil.  How romantic.

New York City is intoxicating.  There really is no other word that I can use to describe it.  Traveling there for Eunice and Garrett's Jewish wedding with a pop-up ceremony in the middle of The Highline Park was one of the highlights of our summer.  We toured The Standard Hotel, Central Park, Chinatown, got lost and ended up in Brooklyn, and now we have the city in our blood.  LOVE it and can't wait to go back!

One week after the NYC wedding, the couple celebrated the bride's heritage in a Vietnamese wedding reception.  It was then that we were able to show a fabulous piece that John edited.  I love this photo from Kelli + Daniel Taylor Photography.  It was taken when the couple 1st saw their wedding video!

Check out Chris's latest wedding film for such a wonderful family!  When Dianna's mom first contacted us, her main goal was securing a film that she would be able to show her parents (the bride's grandparents).

I know you would never guess that like 7 ft. tall William is a former basketball player, but he is!  Sweet man.  And he got pretty lucky to "rediscover" Shawanda after many years.  They make a terrific couple with such a wonderful love story.  It was our pleasure!

Imagine being 14 years old and not able to bathe yourself without your mom's help?  Sophia has cerebral palsy but doesn't let that stop her from living her life as a normal teenager.  She is a rockstar!

John Deaver Films was honored to be able to fly to Chicago to document when Safe Step Walk-in Tub Co gave Sophia a brand new speciality tub that has greatly helped her independence.  To read more about her story, click here.  

We enjoy creating these corporate videos. As a videographer, it is really cool to be able to tell this family's story as their lives are changing for the better.
