Catherine and Matt | Iron City

As Catherine and Matt's wedding planner stated, their wedding was "It was a beautiful Great Gatsby meets southern charm meets downtown Birmingham vibe." The wedding was covered with beautiful draping and flowers. It was stunning!

Engaged, A Wedding Library located at 1018 Oxmoor Road in Homewood, AL, is the perfect place to go for valuable resources while planning your wedding.  Sure, you can find loads of information online, but sometimes, sitting down with someone and letting them help you organize your things-to-do list is invaluable.  And the ladies at Engaged are really great at being that calming presence in your life.

Twice a year they do Sweet Saturday.  Sweet Saturday allows you to sample cake bites from several different bakeries in the Birmingham area.  This month they have 5 artists featured - Dreamcakes (Homewood), Evelyn Criswell Catering (Springville), Cakes by Kim (McCalla), Pastry Art Bake Shoppe (Inverness and Homewood), and Olexa's (Mountain Brook).

Not only will it save you time picking the perfect cake artist for your wedding day, but it is also a pretty fun day too!  Mark your calendar for this Saturday (February 21) from 11 - 3.  I'm told no appointment is necessary for this wonderful (and free) event!  Thanks Engaged ladies!  Main Street loves you! Questions:  Call Katie at 205-637-0735.

Dianna and Kris | Aldridge Gardens | Hoover Wedding Video

Check out Chris's latest wedding film for such a wonderful family!  When Dianna's mom first contacted us, her main goal was securing a film that she would be able to show her parents (the bride's grandparents).

I received this message from the mom after viewing the film:

" I want you to know I did NOT cry at they wedding but I cried like a baby all Three times I watched the link tonight.

Everything about it was perfect! The music selection was great.

It couldn't have come at a better time. My father is in the hospital a third time since the wedding and I know he and my mother will love watching the video. Thank you so much!"

Great job, Chris!

Rachel & Jason | The Club | Same Day Edit

Who doesn't love a great surprise?  Especially when you get to surprise an entire room of people, including the bride and groom.

When Rachel's sister-in-law, Stephanie came to us looking to do a Same Day Edit, we were thrilled! We first met Stephanie many years ago through her company (Engaged, A Wedding Library)/PWG Birmingham and instantly became friends.  She is a savvy business woman who loves her family dearly.

Rachel arranged an all-star team for her wedding.  You hear if often but sharing a wedding day with a family is an honor, no matter how many times you do it.

Take a look at this SDE highlights of their special day!  Thanks to Ginny Au with Bits and Bobs, Stephen DeVries Photography, Event Rentals Unlimited, Dreamcakes Bakery, Molly Stilley (bride's hair and makeup), Prince of Peace Catholic church, Happy Catering, The Club, Rare Transportation and HotHouse Design Studio.
