Melissa and Seth | The Club

We've loved this family for years, ever since Melissa's brother, Drew married Sara. Through the years we've kept up with all of them, hugged at several random events and celebrated when it was time for Melissa to marry Seth! It was a wonderful day. We love the couples/families we get to work with on a wedding day because so often, they turn into great friends!

Your wedding video doesn't have to be boring

WHAT!!!!!!  Not all wedding videos are created equal.  Some are too quick, some are too slow, some have too much drone footage in them (yes, I said it).  I've seen some that are boring.  It doesn't matter if you had an 8-piece band at your reception or not, the video doesn't have to be boring.

A wedding day should be a joyous occasion.  It's a time to celebrate!  If you want a wedding film that shows your friends and family dancing and having a great time, let us help!

Featured: Borrowed & Blue

This wedding loveliness was featured recently on Borrowed & Blue for the Birmingham area.  Heading by Anita Kanellis with AK Brides, it was a dreamy day.  Heather Durham did a fantastic job with the photos; I know that pleased Caroline and her family.  Really each way you turn, the vendor team was awesome!  Did you see those flowers from Carol with Lillie Jane!  Wow!

Head on over to B&B and check out the feature.  Here is the link.  I'm going to post the video below too in case you want to relive the wedding day with us!  Enjoy!

Alexis and Colby | Private family home, sort of...

When you ask summer brides, getting married outdoors, what their biggest fear is on the wedding day, they almost always say, "RAIN!"  Sometimes they have a beautiful sunny day, sometimes it rains a little bit but clears up just in time for the ceremony AND sometimes you have a gully washer (southern term...)!

Alexis and Colby's wedding day started out with beautiful skies as they were preparing to get married at the bride's aunt's home on the lake.  Letters were written, bride was gorgeous, and then the rain started.  Sideways, down, every which way.  Thankfully a nearby church was able to host the wedding at the last minute.

Do you want to know the best part?  I emailed the bride right after the wedding saying that I was sorry that the day didn't go as she wanted.  Her response, "It didn't, but in the end everything was still perfect!"  That, ladies and gentleman, was the best attitude anyone could have had!

Claire and Paul | The Grand Hotel

We love to do wedding weekend coverage. It gives us the chance to hear the funny and telling stories from the rehearsal dinner.  A lot of times, we are able to incorporate those into the wedding film.  It makes it really special.  And speaking of special, these families are special.  From the groom's sister texting her dad after first meeting Claire, "We can not let Paul screw this up!" to fun dancing all night long, it was the perfect wedding!  I'm so excited to share with you their wedding weekend from The Grand Hotel in Fairhope, AL.
