So yesterday I went to a class held at Engaged, A Wedding Library in Homewood, AL. The class covered a lot of business and marketing topics so I had a great time and learned a lot. Afterwards, a few of us headed to try Edgewood's newest restaurant, Taco Mama. Pretty tasty, by the way.
Well during lunch, a black SUV pulls up beside us and two guys hop out and start walking down towards Saw's BBQ. Someone at our table recognizes one of the guys as Lyle Lovett or Randy Travis; we didn't know who - but when you have a hat like he did, we knew he was somebody! After consulting with google, we confirmed that it was Lyle Lovett and he was scheduled to perform a few concerts in the area. That is where the video picks up. Stephanie, the owner of Engaged, her librarian, Elizabeth and Michelle, one of the owners of The Neighborhood Brew decide that they were going to go talk to him. And maybe even sing him a song!
