Holli and Tim | Regions Field Wedding

"Ahh we just watched it and absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!! It is just so perfect!!! Can’t stop watching!!! Thank you so much!!!"

It’s been the year of siblings around here and that is such a huge compliment. We love getting to know families and being a part of several celebrations is always a fun thing!

Oh and by the way, don’t worry too much about a video camera being a part of your wedding. People love us! See the thumbnail below - dancing to the camera. Yeah, we still got it.

Madison and Warren | Regions Field

Timeless and elegant, that is how we would describe Madison and Warren’s wedding day. With an all-star team, lead by Becky’s Brides, we just knew the day would be perfect. And really how cool is it to get married at the Baseball Field? We are so fortunate that here in Birmingham we have so many awesome wedding venues!

"It is absolutely perfect!!! Thank you SO much! We have loved reliving such a beautiful day! 😊"  - bride Sarah

Sarah and her mom put together a solid wedding team and that truly makes a difference. Invision Events executed the wedding perfectly! From the touching ceremony through the fun wedding reception, it really was a beautiful day!

Sarah and David | The Florentine

We love when wedding guests give meaningful toasts at the reception. Not only does allow us to get to know the couple even more, but it allows us to also include some really great narrative in the video!

A family friend actually gifted the couple a video of their ceremony so we were only hired to film the reception. It's not something we generally do, but we are so pleased with the results.

Rachel and Kevin | Haven

Rachel and Kevin, the love in their eyes is breathtaking. Rachel had no doubts her future was meant to be spent with Kevin, from the tears of joy when they laid eyes on each other to Rachel's smile that could light up a room, these two have a bright future with nothing but love for one another.

5 pretty awesome groom's cakes

I think one of the best trends over the past few years has been on groom's cakes.  A little while back, I did a post about showing school spirit in the creating of a groom's cake, but sometimes we see that it goes so much further than that.  And it's fun!  Plus look at the talent and creativity right here in the South!

Here are my favorite (and off-beat) groom's cakes, in no particular order...

1 - A drum set by Barb's Cakes at a recent B & A Warehouse wedding.

2. Are you a world traveler?  Olexa's can make this fun cake for you!  Thanks B & A Warehouse!

3. Passion for fishing? This cake by Magnificent Cakes is perfect for you! Shared from The Sonnet House.

4. Whiskey anyone?  I can't locate the baker but Arden Photography at Windwood Equestrian was able to capture it before guests "drank" it!

5. Ok, this might be my favorite. I love Charlie!!! Thank you Ann Wade Photography for sharing. Cake made by The Frosted Affair!

MODWEDDING feature

We just love when others get to share in the excitement of our weddings.  MODWEDDING was kind enough to feature Kaitlyn and Hunter’s April wedding on their blog.  We’ve never seen the Donnelly House look more beautiful!  Here is the post (and a thanks for including the video as well): http://www.modwedding.com/2016/08/alabama-wedding-chic-southern-style

In case you missed the video, you should watch it now.  Chris did a great job!

And did you see Alisha Crossley’s photos?  Stunning. Here are a few examples.
