Madison and Warren | Regions Field

Timeless and elegant, that is how we would describe Madison and Warren’s wedding day. With an all-star team, lead by Becky’s Brides, we just knew the day would be perfect. And really how cool is it to get married at the Baseball Field? We are so fortunate that here in Birmingham we have so many awesome wedding venues!

Jordan and Chad | Wynlakes Country Club

We first met this family years ago when Lauren Pettus Harrell married her sweetheart, Trey. It was a fun, over-the-top wedding with every single resident of Montgomery in attendance.

When little sister, Jordan Pettus Schroeder got engaged to Chad, we were excited to get the call from mom, Teresa. She loves her girls so much! Naturally the town would be talking about Jordan's wedding as well. And rightfully so. Edelweiss Design House created such an elegant and gorgeous event at Wynlakes Golf & Country Club. Watch the video so you can fall in love too!

5 pretty awesome groom's cakes

I think one of the best trends over the past few years has been on groom's cakes.  A little while back, I did a post about showing school spirit in the creating of a groom's cake, but sometimes we see that it goes so much further than that.  And it's fun!  Plus look at the talent and creativity right here in the South!

Here are my favorite (and off-beat) groom's cakes, in no particular order...

1 - A drum set by Barb's Cakes at a recent B & A Warehouse wedding.

2. Are you a world traveler?  Olexa's can make this fun cake for you!  Thanks B & A Warehouse!

3. Passion for fishing? This cake by Magnificent Cakes is perfect for you! Shared from The Sonnet House.

4. Whiskey anyone?  I can't locate the baker but Arden Photography at Windwood Equestrian was able to capture it before guests "drank" it!

5. Ok, this might be my favorite. I love Charlie!!! Thank you Ann Wade Photography for sharing. Cake made by The Frosted Affair!

Becky and Phill | Oak Island Wedding Film

Our bride Becky, even with tons of life events surrounding their date, really took time to personalize their wedding.  Little touches were everywhere making everything so beautiful.  We love working at Oak Island!

Chelsea and Chris | St. Stephen's Episcopal

At 14, our bride Chelsea was told she might not ever walk again. Her faith was unwavering and inspiring; just look at her now! We loved being a part of Chelsea and Chris's wedding day. To read Chelsea's story, click here. And if Chris looks familiar to you, he has been the brother of two of our brides in past years. We love getting to grow with families!
