A Story of True Love

Over 5 years ago, we filmed a couple that wanted a video to not only show at their rehearsal dinner, but to also show to their future kids.  That's what video is all about, isn't it?  Preserving a moment in time.  (Sure this particular moment in time was filmed with pretty harsh lighting and is dreadfully long. We've grown a lot in 5 years.)

This family was already very special to us, as we had gotten to know them from another of our weddings.  But just as the groom, Rich, says here "There was just something about Molly...she had angels around her..."

Three precious girls later, Molly finds out that she has Stage 4 Melanoma.  She practically has the entire city of Homewood, really the entire state, praying for her around the clock (#miracleformolly) but she is in a fight for her life.  Maybe you can keep her in your thoughts and prayers too.

When my mom was sick, I remember someone giving us the book, "Why Bad Things Happen to Good People." I never read it, but still to this day, I still don't understand.  Molly is one of the greats and she has a loving husband and three beautiful little girls to raise.  She is strong. If anyone can beat this cancer, it is Molly! I think it is awesome that the title I gave this video over 5 years ago, A Story of True Love, is still a phrase that can still be used to describe Rich and Molly.

Update: Molly passed away early Saturday morning, 5 years and 1 day after marrying the love of her life.  #cancersucks
