Miss Annie's Pumpkin Bread Bake Off 2016
Thank you for participating in the 3rd annual Miss Annie's Pumpkin Bread Bake Off! What started in 2014 for a deserving guy battling cancer, has turned into an annual tradition. Our first receipant was a man very near to Annie's heart, her brother. Jon didn't understand why people that had never met him were willing to all come together to raise a substantial amount of money for his last wishes. The money not only gave him hope but it also helped relieve the financial burden on the family.
Two families were the recipients for 2015. Kaitlyn Weaver and her family were raising money for a much needed doctor's appointment with the National Institute of Health in Maryland. Her family hoped to find answers to Kaitlyn's rare disorder. We also, with your help, raised money for Greg Hester, a loving husband and father that was battling aggressive brain cancer.
We are still waiting to release the information about the two individuals selected for 2016. Please check back tomorrow for all of the details.
We are selling medium loaves for $5 each, with 100% of the proceeds going to these two Shelby County families. We all love Miss Annie's Pumpkin Bread so buy a few loaves for your family and a few for family and friends too! Pickup will be Monday, November 21 and Tuesday, November 22 at various locations (Columbiana, Alabaster, Chelsea and Inverness). Pickup dates and times are listed below. Look for Miss Annie's bug!
To order, we are asking to please fill out the form below so that we can keep this as organized as possible. Please refrain from texting, calling or Facebook messaging with your order. Cash is preferred, no credit cards upon pickup. You must have your order submitted by 5 pm on Thursday, November 17. We are capping the number of loaves at 400 this year, so get your orders in early!
Columbiana: Piggly Wiggly parking lot - Monday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m.
Alabaster: Lowe's parking lot - Monday, November 21 at 11:30 a.m.
Chelsea: Winn Dixie parking lot - Tuesday, November 22 at 10:00 a.m.
Inverness: Winn Dixie parking lot - Tuesday, November 22 at 11:30 a.m.
Homewood: Happy Catering Company - Tuesday, November 22 at 1:30 p.m. (If you don't arrive by 2:00, all leftovers will be left there for pickup by 5:00 p.m. that day)
