Blog Index

We have tried to design our blog for our fans, friends, and family to keep up with what we are doing each week.  It is also a good way to get to know us.  Or maybe just a way that I (Angela) can talk up a storm without John getting annoyed.  We will see...

Also included are the Insider's Tips, which started out as a challenge to post one tip per week for an entire year.  We hope that you will find that they are not just the normal information you find out there in wedding world, but more unusual tips that can only be found when you live on the inside.  Ha!  Really, we just attend a lot of weddings.

Photo Booths!

For the last several years, the popularity of photo booths have been on the rise. They are so much fun at a wedding reception for the guests, as well as the bride and groom.  Locally, I know of several DJs that have them - JAMM Entertainment, Feel the Beat, Total Entertainment, Amerson Events - and more I am sure.  Some photographers even supply them - Gresham Photography, The Foto Atelier - off the top of my head.  It gives the wedding guests something to do when the band takes a break or if they just need a break from dancing.

But what I love more than photo booths are the PROPS!!!  Signs, chalkboards, mustaches, silly hats, yes, YES, please!

Here is fun wedding photo taken from The Wedding Chicks!  Photo credit goes to True Photography.

Brenda + David: Gadsden CP/The Wynfrey

Brenda: The Bubbly bride that never meets a stranger.  David:  The rocket scientist who invented something that actually flies on the space shuttle! Together this couple had a perfect wedding day. First at the Gadsden Presbyterian Church for an intimate ceremony with family.  Pictures were captured by The Foto Atelier.

The day concluded with a fun reception at the Wynfrey. The food was delicious as it only could be with Occasions by Wynfrey.  Jamm Entertainment entertained the guests not only with great music, but also with a photo booth in the lobby, a Wii console for the kids, and Karaoke for Brenda and her ladies! They were still singing when we left!!!
