Blog Index

We have tried to design our blog for our fans, friends, and family to keep up with what we are doing each week.  It is also a good way to get to know us.  Or maybe just a way that I (Angela) can talk up a storm without John getting annoyed.  We will see...

Also included are the Insider's Tips, which started out as a challenge to post one tip per week for an entire year.  We hope that you will find that they are not just the normal information you find out there in wedding world, but more unusual tips that can only be found when you live on the inside.  Ha!  Really, we just attend a lot of weddings.

Colby + Bo: Huntsville FUMC/Huntsville Museum of Art

For this wedding weekend, we traveled to my (Angela) hometown of Huntsville to film for Colby and Bo and the ENTIRE town of Scottsboro - no really, I think everyone attended!  The wedding ceremony was perfect!  I have always loved the downtown HSV churches.

The Huntsville Museum of Art served as the reception location, where Miss Susie (Susie Fortner) orchestrated a fabulous evening filled with drinks and dancing!  The guest favors were bottles of wine with the couple's monogram on it.

We worked with Rob Ingram Photography to capture the day perfectly!

Whitney + Billy: Reid Chapel & VHCC

This past Saturday we worked some of our favorite vendors to create a beautiful day for Whitney and Billy.  Anita Kanellis with AK Brides planned Whitney's wedding of her dreams.  Lighting was provided by Andy Tolar with Design Productions, making Vestavia Hills Country Club a beautiful shade of pink!  A couple of weeks ago, we did a photo shoot with Southern Bride Magazine where Rob Ingram was the photographer.  It was nice seeing him again at the wedding.  Another friend, Laura Eason had the very large task of doing makeup Whitney, her mom, and all of the bridemaids! Everyone looked beautiful!  Amazing band, Az-Izz, had everyone dancing so much that no one wanted to leave!  The day couldn't have been more perfect!
