In honor of Thanksgiving week, I would just like to take the opportunity to thank each of you for your support in this new blog endeavor.  I didn't do much research before starting this quest, but I have since found that there are a lot of blogs out there trying to help people plan their wedding.  Even with all the information out there, I still have lots of readers and I really apprecaite that.  More than anything, I have come across several brides lately that are actually getting great information from our tips.  

So the next tip might seem like an easy one (for me!!!) and has nothing to do with the fact that we are up to our eyeballs in edits for the holiday.  Tip #12 is to keep reading this blog!  Ha Ha!  

 

No really, Tip #12 is to take the time to thank your wedding day vendors if they did a great job (which they should have!!).  A simple thank you note (along with the hundreds more that you have to do) is not something that most brides do, but is very special.  There are also several sites (like weddingwire.com) that you can rate your vendors. Those sites can help other brides decide who is right for their wedding.  

 

I even received a wonderful token of appreciation that the photographer had made for the couple. They were a collage of pictures taken on the wedding day with thank you signs. The bride used the cards to write thank you notes for their gifts, but she also sent one to us! It made my day!
