Who We Are

We say that we are a creative collaboration.  A better term would by family, well dysfunctional family.  ha! We are coming up on 15 years of filming weddings.  That's a lot of weddings.   Our reputation is extremely important to us because it tells us that we are doing a great job for our families.

A quick introduction:

I'm Angela, the bride enthusiast.  What does that mean?  Who really knows?  I co-own the business; we can make up any titles we want. It fits though - I love to talk with brides about their wedding!  (And I'm enthusiastic about using exclamation points!)  I handle all of the behind the scenes for the guys.  Emails, blogs, social media...I feel like there is more to my job than just those three things for as busy as I am.  My favorite job is being mom to our 10 year old son, Will.  I'm also a fur mom to our rescued pups, Gracie Mae and Dr. Oliver. (You can just call them Gracie and Ollie.)  Gracie wants to play "ball" three hours a day and I'm not even kidding.  Ollie just likes to antagonize her.   Well-known fact: I will click on most every video that Ellen shares...

This perfectly sums up our relationship.  Will is an only child so naturally he thinks he is part of John and I's relationship.  They fight over me... :)

The handsome guy trying to kiss me in the above picture is my college sweetheart, John.  He's pretty awesome.  He's super creative and caring and such a hard worker and provider for our family. We joke that he has a degree in VCR programming so he knows all of the ends and outs to video.  Others in the Birmingham video world are always calling him for technical questions.

John travels a good bit for our other brand, Cinepear, so he is not usually at many weddings, but relies on our good friend, Chris, for that.

Chris has worked with us for years now.  He's the guy in the picture right here ------>.  If you didn't know this, Chris made a horror movie a few years ago that gained him some notoriety (in a few small countries.)   Chris and Amy have been together for like 8 or 9 years, but she finally made him an honest man about a year ago.  They love rescue pups as well so you know they are good people.  They also are raising 2 teenage rug rats. Chris' edits are perfection, every time.  He knows what he wants to get on the day of the wedding and is already editing in his head while the camera is still rolling. He also loves to talk about your favorite movies/directors/etc and secretly would love it if VHS was a preferred delivery method again.

There are various others at any given time - interns, assistants, second shooters, editors, but we are the core that keeps things running like well-oiled machine.

I watch my video at least once a day, safe to say I am obsessed. They are the best vendor to use for your special day!!!

I highly recommend booking Main Street Productions for your wedding! They were so nice and easy to work with... We received it (our video) yesterday and have watched it 100 times already. I know we will watch it many times to come and so happy we decided to have our wedding on video. It is worth every penny!

Chris along with the entire Main Street Productions team did an EXCELLENT job capturing our special day! When I received my short 7 minute video back, it instantly brought back the excitement I felt on my wedding day! They were easy to contact, and if I ever had any questions, I knew I could call on Angela to answer it. The best decision I could have made was hiring a videographer! Since I made this choice, I am able to look back on my wedding a relieve it as much as I would like!
